GREEN-X Collaborates with Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to Deliver Training and Technology Transfer on Green Tourism

March 17, 2026

On March 18, VinUni Smart Green Transformation Center (GREEN-X), in collaboration with the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organized a training, guidance, and field survey program at accommodation establishments in Khanh Hoa Province to support the implementation of the Khanh Hoa Green Tourism Standards. The program was designed for management teams from four hotels and resorts, including Champa Island Nha Trang, Potique Hotel, Ana Mandara Cam Ranh, and The Anam Resort. During the program, participating businesses were introduced to the overall framework of the Khanh Hoa Green Tourism Standards and received guidance on reviewing and comparing their current operations against the requirements of the standards.

In addition to the training and guidance session, GREEN-X experts conducted on-site surveys at each accommodation establishment to assess current practices, review alignment with green tourism criteria, and propose improvement directions tailored to the operational context of each business. The program also created a platform for exchange among local authorities, experts, and businesses, helping address practical challenges in applying the standards. Through this activity, accommodation establishments gained further support to gradually adopt, adjust, and implement green tourism practices more effectively in their operations.

This training and field survey activity contributes to promoting the application of sustainable tourism standards in Khanh Hoa, while strengthening collaboration among researchers, government agencies, and businesses in the green transformation journey of the local tourism sector.
