Smart Waste Management for Urban Circular Economy (SmartWaste)

Smart Waste Management for Urban Circular Economy (SmartWaste)

This project develops a decentralized, compact, AI-integrated membrane bioreactor (MBR) system for urban wastewater treatment, combining real-time sensor monitoring with machine-learning–based adaptive control. Designed to operate under highly variable urban conditions, the system optimizes pollutant removal, energy efficiency, and membrane performance, while generating scalable solutions for real-world deployment and citywide replication.
