Biography
Dr. Thuy Bui is an interdisciplinary researcher and educator at VinUniversity, where she serves as Project Director at the Smart Green Transformation Center and holds a faculty appointment in the College of Arts and Sciences. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her B.A. from the University of Minnesota.
Her research lies at the intersection of natural language processing, behavioral research, and sustainable development. Combining computational text analysis, survey methods, and quantitative approaches, she examines human behavior and generates insights for sustainability-oriented decision-making. Her current work focuses on green transition, sectoral innovation, and local governance, with an emphasis on translating data-driven evidence into actionable public policy.
